First Aid Courses Newcastle

Your First Aid certificate does not have an expiration date. However,  it is recommended by SafeWork Australia  that your First Aid certificate be renewed every 3 years. Depending on the employer and workplace, more frequent renewal of First Aid may be required.

It is recommended that your CPR certificate is renewed every 12 months.

Most of our courses are completed in one day. Our First Aid courses typically run for 7 hours from 9am to 4pm and our CPR courses typically run for 3 hours from 9am to 12pm.

If you are attending a BLENDED format course, after completing the online pre-course module, you’ll only be in class for approx. 1/2 the time

Absolutely, we include free of charge, CPR certification in our First Aid and Childcare First Aid courses. You do not need to book into a CPR course as well as a First Aid / Childcare First Aid course.

It ultimately depends on what course you take but our CPR and First Aid courses range from $50 to $120. See our price list below:

• HLTAID009 Provide cardio pulmonary resuscitation  Course – $60
• HLTAID011 Provide first aid Course – $115
• HLTAID012 Provide first aid in an education and care setting Course – $130

There will be a short quiz at the beginning of the course on the information contained in the videos, this is to enable the trainer to better guide the content of the course for you.

Our Newcastle First Aid courses are held in Cardiff at the Cardiff RSL Club; 45 Macquarie Road Cardiff, New South Wales 2285. 

The location is a great venue for anyone in the Newcastle and Hunter region to attend a course at. There’s plenty of street parking and there’s food and drink available at the venue.
